Thank you for your interest in the 2024 Summerfest Tournament!

We are limiting registration to 8 Open Teams (U17-U23), 16 Competitive Teams (U15 & U16) & 16 Development Teams (U13 & U14) of each gender. If your requested division is full, join the wait list and we will contact you if a spot opens.

Men's & Women's Open Division (U17 - U23): This is our showcase division open to all provincial teams competing in the 2023 17U National Championships, University/College teams, AAU teams and Strong U17 or older club teams.
Men's & Women's Competitive Division (U15, U16 & Some U17 clubs): Teams in this division will compete against BNB’s 15U and 16U provincial teams. This division is intended for provincial teams in the 16U category and provincial 15U teams that will be competing in the Canada Basketball 15U National Champions. Club teams of comparable level will also be considered.
Men's & Women's Development Division (U13 & U14): This division is mainly for U13 & U14 teams but some developmental U15 teams may be considered.

Please note that the divisions are only a guide - the goal of the tournament is to provide appropriate competition for all teams involved - stronger or more developmental teams may be placed outside of the age ranges listed above.

Due to the contraints on gym time and officials availability, special requests for scheduling are not likely to be accepted. The organizing committee will attempt to take travel into account but registered teams should be prepared to play from Friday at 12pm to Sunday at 5pm.

Make sure you hit "Confirm" at the bottom of the final page to make sure you are actually registered - you will receive a confirmation email as well!

Rosters
Team rosters may not be changed once divisions and schedules are finalized without approval from the BNB office.

Seeding
Teams will be placed in the appropriate category following the registration deadline.

Coach Eligibility
It is strongly recommended that all teams participating in BNB's Summerfest Tournament have a coach who has completed NCCP Learn to Train or higher.

Code of Conduct
All players, coaches, spectators and team followers will be held to the standards listed in the BNB Code of Conduct and Canada Basketball's UCCMS.

All player and coach information is kept confidential and for the use of BNB only. No contact or personal information of players and coaches will be distributed to outside parties.

Photos or videos may be taken during the event and used for BNB social media or on future promotional materials.

Full refunds will only be given if a team withdraws prior to June 1st. Partial refunds after the deadline may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Payments must be received or arranged before teams considered confirmed to participate. Cheques can be sent to the BNB office at: Basketball New Brunswick, 900 Hanwell Rd, Unit 31, Fredericton, NB, E3B6A2. We also accept e-mail money transfers sent to info@basketball.nb.ca (with the password set as Basketball). Please include team name, age group and gender with all payments.
