Popular BNB Summerfest Tournament receives Hospitality Saint John Tourism Nomination

Hospitality Saint John is a local advocacy & networking group promoting tourism and tourism related priorities to their members and the public at large. 

They are proud to once again be hosting the Greater Saint John Tourism Awards.  Last year they had a great response to the awards night with over 250 people attending the event at Marco Polo Cruise Terminal where they gave out 20+ awards recognizing all the hard work and dedication that goes into not only bringing an event to the area, but also to recognize those that make it happen and deliver daily knock your socks off customer service.  These awards recognize some of those who have made significant contributions to their success in the tourism / hospitality sector in the region. 
 
There are a number of awards that they give out such as Cruise Champion Award, Loved the Service Winners, Top attraction & restaurant and the Community Champion for Festival & Sports Award. 

BNB's efforts towards organizing the annual Summerfest Tournament  in Saint John has been put forward as one of the nominees for the Festival & Sports (Sports Category) Award.  The winning selection criteria is based upon a few areas such as Impact to the tourism sector in the region, involvement of partners in the tourism industry, “buzz” of event, and ability for future spin off.

The awards will take place starting with a 6:30PM reception on Thursday, November 7th at the Saint John Trade & Convention Centre (Marco Polo Room).
