Share BNB Receives Two Honours at Konica Minolta Sport NB Awards Night

It was an exciting night for Basketball New Brunswick at the annual Konica Minolta Sport NB Awards on November 30th.
BNB members were nominated for awards in three categories including Male Coach of the Year, Team of the Year and the President's Award for the Under 18 Male Athlete of the Year.
Kyle Woodworth, of Fredericton, was the winner of the Male Coach of the Year Award after leading the BNB's U17 Men's team to a bronze medal finish at the Canada Basketball National Championships hosted in Fredericton this past summer. Woodworth, who also coaches with BNB's Elite Development Program and the Harvey High School Lady Lakers, gave credit to the support from his assistant coaches, Paul Vaughan (Quispamsis), Joel Everett (Woodstock), and Dom Laviolette (Fredericton).
The bronze medal winning U17 Men's team captured the Team of the Year Award. Team members include:

Norm Burry, of Fredericton, was also honoured with a nomination for the U18 Male Athlete of the Year. Jacob LeBlanc, of ParasportNB, was the selected recipient.
