Basketball New Brunswick Statement on NB’s Yellow Phase Recovery Plan
 
Basketball New Brunswick is monitoring the latest information from Public Health, Public Safety, Worksafe NB, and is in regular contact with the Government of New Brunswick, Sport New Brunswick and Canada Basketball. All sport organizations (at the provincial and club levels) are required to create a Return to Play Operational Plan that adheres to Public Health recommendations. Canada Basketball has created a Task Force that will take the lead on developing the sport-specific version of this plan.
 
The safety of our members will remain our number one priority as we continue to navigate through this global COVID-19 pandemic. It is critical that our return to play operational plan aligns provincially and nationally to ensure the safety of our athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers.
 
Basketball New Brunswick will circulate this plan to its members and through social media platforms once it is completed and approved by our board of directors.
 
Basketball New Brunswick continues to suspend all programs until further notice. Please continue to stay safe and we hope to see you back on the court soon.

Déclaration de Basketball Nouveau-Brunswick sur le plan de rétablissement de la phase jaune
 
Basketball Nouveau-Brunswick suit attentivement les dernières informations de Santé publique, Sécurité publique, Travail sécuritaire NB, et est en contact régulier avec le gouvernement du Nouveau-Brunswick, Sport Nouveau-Brunswick et Canada Basketball. Toutes les organisations sportives (aux niveaux provincial et club) sont tenues de créer un plan opérationnel de retour au jeu qui respecte les recommandations de Santé publique. Canada Basketball a créé un groupe de travail qui dirigera l'élaboration de la version sportive de ce plan.
 
La sécurité de nos membres demeurera notre plus grande priorité alors que nous continuons d’aller de l’avant lors de cette pandémie mondiale de COVID-19. Il est essentiel que notre plan opérationnel de retour au jeu s’aligne à l’échelle provinciale et nationale pour assurer la sécurité de nos athlètes, entraîneurs, officiels et bénévoles.
 
Basketball Nouveau-Brunswick fera circuler ce plan à ses membres et par l’entremise des plateformes de médias sociaux une fois qu’il sera approuvé par le conseil d’administration.
 
Basketball Nouveau-Brunswick continue de suspendre tous les programmes jusqu’à nouvel ordre. S’il vous plaît, continuez à rester en sécurité et nous espérons vous revoir sur le terrain bientôt.
