New guidance for Basketball in Orange Alert Levels

After further consultation with our Sport Branch consultants who communicate with Public Health officials, Basketball New Brunswick has decided that as of December 2nd, areas under the Orange Alert Level will be limited to activities previously contained in Phase 2: Physical Distancing with guided defense.
(Regions in the Yellow Alert Level can remain at "Phase 5: Competition")

Coaches should have a physical copy of their association or team's operational plans at their practices just in case enforcement officers would like to inspect them. Coaches/Volunteers should continue to take proper attendance with contact information at each practice and have participants sanitize when they arrive.
