It’s that time of the year again when BNB is searching for applications for our 2023 Provincial Teams – including our 15U, 16U, and 17U teams.Basketball New Brunswick is now accepting coaching applications for our provincial team season. We are seeking coaches for our men’s and women’s 15U, 16U, and 17U teams.

- A minimum of one member of each coaching staff (not including managers and trainers) must be the same gender of the team they are coaching.
- If the head coach of a female team is male, the assistant coach and manager must be female.
- For female team, one of two head coaches must be female.
Keys to a successful applicant:
- Connected/involved with the current basketball environment in New Brunswick.
- Available to participate in talent identification sessions and BNB’s Revamped Senior Elite Development Program in the spring of 2023.
- Knowledgeable and practicing the principles of Canadian Sport for Life and LTAD.
- Strong communicator with exceptional organizational skills.
- Willing to work with BNB to select other coaching staff in order to maximize team potential and assist players in developing skills to achieve on and off-court personal goals.

THIS ONLINE FORM, as well as submit a cover letter, resume, and a personalized “Strategic Team Plan” by the deadline of
Friday, December 2nd, 2022.
“Strategic Team Plan” may include but is not limited to:
- Short/long-term goals
- Potential training and competition schedule/locations
- Budget acceptance and implications
- Individual weekly training plans
- Targeted athlete/team selection philosophy
- Skill development strategies
- Practice/competition ratio
- LTAD alignment

The successful candidates will be required to submit a Police Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
